Cooney for Congress

I was hired to be the Graphic Designer for a congressional campaign in Southwest Michigan for Don Cooney. I collaborated with designer named Martin Burch to help brainstorm and form the indentity. The identity of the campaign was very important in this race so we needed to create a very solid branding system for Cooney. Not even noticed that in Barack Obama's logo there is a giant wheat field that symbolizes our nation's amber waves of grain. We decided to make create the logo centered around a single stalk of wheat. This particular district in West Michigan represents a single stalk and the importance of this one stalk to the growth and strength of an entire field. We created a series of marketing materials and campaign materials such as the buttons below.
